But just as the final procession was about to return to the temple, the sky darkened, thunder roared, and heavy rain began to pour. The nearby Gogarbh reservoir, which was completely dry, overflowed within minutes. Strangely, this rainfall was limited to Tirumala hills neighboring areas remained dry. This was just one of the many miraculous events linked to Tirupati. From saving temple treasures during Malik Kafur’s invasion to surviving attempted looting under British rule, Tirupati has witnessed centuries of divine intervention.
