Bhatia alleges that Das and Ranka attributed statements to his name and made them public, which he never actually made. Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit India to attend the BRICS summit. This will mark the first bilateral talks between the two leaders in India since the Galwan violence in June 2020. The BRICS summit is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on September 12–13.
